Kater CLI Projects and timelines timeline

kater timeline log

Add one entry to an app's timeline.

Show the entry to the person and add it only after they say yes. A tag with no answer= runs its query once, and Kater pins its figure: this waits up to 30 seconds for that. A reply needs only read access to the app; any other entry needs edit access. An entry holds 10 attachments at most; a picture shows on the timeline within about a minute.

Examples

Terminal window
# Add one entry to an app's timeline
kater timeline log

Arguments

ArgumentDescription
<id>Optional. The app’s id. Leave it out for a reply: it goes on the timeline of the entry --on names.

The worker takes the picture after the entry is written. Give it once for each picture. You can give it more than one time.

--attach <attach>A file you can read, by its content path, such as connections/<c>/users/<email>/brainstorm/budget.csv: Kater keeps a copy of it on the entry. 10 MB at most: PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, PDF, CSV, JSON, XLSX, DOCX, PPTX, text or Markdown. Give it once for each file. You can give it more than one time.

It also takes the global options --json and --help.
