Kater CLI Set up init

kater init status

Shows the status of each setup step, the job that runs now, and the command for the next step.

Use it to see where the setup is before you continue. It changes nothing.

Examples

Terminal window
# See the status of each step and the next command
kater init status
# Wait for the job of the content store or schema sync step to finish
kater init status --wait

Options

OptionDescription
--waitWaits for the job that runs now, 9 minutes at most. Use it when content-store or schema-sync says that its job still runs.

It also takes --help.

What it prints

It prints one JSON object, as each kater init subcommand does.

  • onboarding.steps gives each step’s status: pending, running, failed, complete or skipped.
  • onboarding.required lists the required steps.
  • onboarding.operation is the job that runs now, if there is one.
  • onboarding.owner is the admin who holds the setup now.
  • next.command is the command for the next step. When every step is complete or skipped, next says that Kater is ready.

It needs the settings:manage permission.
