Kater CLI Find and understand operation

kater operation

Finds the operations that a model's fields offer, such as a sum, a running total or a display format.

An operation is a change that Kater writes into a model’s SQL for you, with kater model edit. See Quick operations.

Commands

kater operation listList the operations each field of a model offers.
kater operation searchFind field operations by name or category.

Examples

# Go to the ad_reporting workspace
cd connections/snowflake_prod_connection/workspaces/ad_reporting
# List the operations that each field of the spend_by_platform query offers
kater operation list query_contracts/spend_by_platform.sql
# Find the operations whose names hold the word lag
