Kater CLI Share and administer admin write-back

kater admin write-back status

Shows where write-back goes and how it last ran.

It gives the repository, the folder, the branch and the schedule. It also gives the last run and the open pull request. Run it when a change does not show in GitHub.

Examples

Terminal window
# See where write-back goes and how it last ran
kater admin write-back status
# Get the same as JSON
kater admin write-back status --json

Options

It also takes the global options --json and --help.

What it shows

  • When write-back is not connected, it says so, and names kater admin write-back connect.
  • [last run failed] gives the error of the last run.
  • It asks GitHub whether Kater’s GitHub App can still reach the repository. When it cannot, [problem] says what to do, such as to run kater admin write-back connect again.

It needs the settings:manage permission.
