Kater CLI Logs and bugs report

kater report show

Shows a bug report's status, how many teams have the bug, its check and its activity.

Give the report’s ID, such as BUG-1042. The answer ends with the report’s link.

Arguments

<id>The report’s ID, such as BUG-1042, as kater report list shows it. You can also give the number alone, such as 1042.

Options

It also takes the global options --json and --help.

What it shows

  • The first line gives the ID, the status, how many teams have the bug, and the state of its check.
  • The check is a test that Kater makes from the report’s steps. It fails while the bug is there, and passes when Kater fixes it.
  • The activity lists each event with its day, such as a status change, a comment, a Me too or a new check.
  • Updates. It says how Kater tells you about the report, by email or by Slack DM.

When the status is Fixed, it asks you to confirm the fix on the report’s page.
