Kater CLI Present and share promotion admin

kater promotion admin apply

Writes a promotion's drafted change into the shared model, in one commit, as you.

Where people asked for the promotion, this approves every request that waits for a decision. Kater refuses while the change gives other results on the warehouse.

Options

--confirm-unverifiedWrites the change although its result check could not verify it. Kater keeps who confirmed it with the check.
--confirm-restrictsFor a filter with a value written in: confirms that it now always applies, and so restricts every model it reaches.

It also takes the global options --json, --kater-root, --scope and --help.

When Kater refuses

  • The promotion is not open, or has no draft.
  • The results differ. Run on the warehouse, the change gives other results.
  • The check could not verify the change, and you did not give --confirm-unverified.
  • A filter would always apply, and you did not give --confirm-restricts. The answer names the models it changes.
  • A file changed after the draft. Kater writes nothing, answers with drafting_again, and drafts the change again. Apply the new change when it is ready.
