Kater CLI Set up init

kater init schemas

Lists the databases that the connection's role can see, or the schemas of one database.

Use it before kater init schema-sync to find the schemas to sync. Each schema comes with its number of tables.

It reads the warehouse with the credential that step 2 stored. It needs the settings:manage permission.

Examples

# List the databases that Kater's role can see
kater init schemas
# List the schemas in DEMO_DB, with their table counts
kater init schemas DEMO_DB

Arguments

ArgumentDescription
<database>Optional. A database whose schemas to list, such as DEMO_DB. Leave it out to list the databases.
