Kater CLI Set up init

kater init first-query

Runs a first query on one synced dataset and shows its first rows.

This is step 3 of kater init. It checks the whole path at one time: the content, the compiler, the stored credential and the warehouse.

Examples

Terminal window
# Run one synced dataset and show its first rows
kater init first-query

Options

It also takes --help.

What it shows

The answer gives the dataset, its columns, 5 rows at most, and the SQL that ran. The step needs a schema sync first. When the sync made no Kater datasets, select schemas that have tables in them.

It needs the settings:manage permission.
