Kater CLI Present and share chart

kater chart duplicate

Copies a saved chart under a new name, over the same query.

The copy comes after the query’s last chart. Without a name, the copy is unnamed_chart_1, or the next free number.

Examples

Terminal window
# Keep the spend_mix chart in a file
kater chart read --request-file spend_mix.json --json > spend_mix_read.json
# Make a request that copies it as spend_mix_donut
jq '{chart: .definition.spec.relation, expected_revision: .definition.revision, name: "spend_mix_donut"}' spend_mix_read.json > spend_mix_duplicate.json
# Copy the chart
