<email>The member’s email address.

Options

OptionDescription
--to <to>The email of the member who receives what they own. They become Manager, with execute, on it, and its checks run as them. Left out, admins alone keep it.
--schedules <schedules>pause stops their schedules. transfer moves them to the member named with --to. It is pause or transfer. The default is pause.

It also takes the global options --json and --help.

What happens

  • They can no longer sign in to the organisation. When they are in no other organisation, their sessions end.
  • The member named with --to becomes Manager, with execute, on their personal folders and on what they managed alone, and their apps and dashboards are checked as that member. Without --to, only admins can open their folders.
  • Their grants, group memberships and attribute values go.
  • --schedules pause, the default, stops their schedules. --schedules transfer moves them to the folder of the member named with --to, where they keep sending. transfer needs --to.
  • You cannot remove yourself with it. Use Leave the organization on your profile.
