Kater SQL Functions Conditions

KATER__IS_AT_MOST

True where the field is less than or equal to the value.

Family: Conditions

Syntax

KATER__IS_AT_MOST(field, value)

Arguments

ArgumentDescription
fieldThe value to test: a field, or a measure’s value, such as EVAL(orders.sum__amount).
valueThe value to compare with. A value, or a parameter a reader supplies.

Returns

TRUE or FALSE. It is NULL where the field is empty, so a filter leaves that row out.

FROM kater_dataset.orders AS orders
WHERE
KATER__IS_AT_MOST(orders.discount, 0.05)
GROUP BY
orders.discount
ORDER BY
1
DiscountOrders
0.01,490
0.05528

Compiles to

The call compiles to the same SQL on DuckDB and on Snowflake.

orders.discount <= 0.05
