EVAL and its modifiers
EVAL works out a measure on each row, in the SELECT's context or in a context that a modifier changes.
Each EVAL has its own context and changes only its own value. The rows that the SELECT returns stay the same. See Change a measure’s context and Pass through, evaluate or declare.

EVAL | Works out a measure on each row, at the SELECT’s grouping and with its filters. |
CLEAR | Removes all of the SELECT’s grouping and filters from an EVAL, so the measure is its grand total. |
REMOVE | Removes the dimensions you name from an EVAL’s grouping and from its filters. |
SET | Replaces one dimension’s grouping and filter with one value. |
SET_CUSTOM | Replaces all of an EVAL’s grouping and filters with one condition of your own. |
CURRENT | Gives a dimension’s value on the row being worked out, inside a SET in an EVAL. |
